You need something that you can put your wrists into so that your hands are about 18" apart. An old pair of your mammy's bloomers will do in a pinch...Or just make it with a rope if you need to for the experiment. Use the wrists as the focal point, not the grip, try to relax your hands. With hands hanging at your waist, start the iso-pull apart. While maintaining the tension, keeping arms straight, start a wide arcing circle in front of yourself, going around in both directons at a slow pace. Don't forget to breathe. After a few short reps, you will feel this in your shoulders much more deeply than you've likely felt a shoulder exercise in a long time. Soon you'll have "cannonball delts" like I do (in pictures I've drawn of myself). I learned this secret move while helping Alexander Zass escape from a prison camp.
