I know that ebooks are nothing new to anyone, but you can download a lot of ebooks for free, particularly classics. I always have to have a book going, and I finished my last paper back and didn't have anything else and didn't know when I'd have the opportunity to get another book. So, I went searching on line and found a couple of free ebooks. I downloaded them as txt files and then copy/pasted them to a word document where I changed the font and text size to my liking.
I have a big, comfy computer chair, so I just load up my word document, put my feet up, lean back, and enjoy reading.
I got a couple of classics I had never read. I just finished Treasure Island. A great adventure story! I didn't realize that every pirate cliché you've ever heard came from that book - "Fifteen men on a dead man's chest, yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum", "Shiver me timbers", "Pieces of eight! Pieces of eight!"
I also downloaded A Tale of Two Cities which I've started reading.
